Grind Chop Loop
A good vocal chop behaves like a snare with pitch. You stutter it, reverse the tail, retune it to the 808, and suddenly the beat has a hook without a written topline. These are short phrases, not verses: think stabs, syllables, and one-bar motifs you can rearrange.
Solo the chop with the drums. If you lose the consonant attacks, the mix will bury them later. Brighten or transient-shape before you bury it in reverb. For longer sung phrases, jump to vocal loops; for trap-only stabs, try trap vocal chops.
