Wear the Pledge

Hey, young people! All around the world!

Listen up! We’ve got a promise to make.

Look at your wrist.

You ready? Let’s go!

In the hallways, in the classroom,

everywhere we go

We’re the future, we’re the leaders,

let the whole world know

No more bullying, no more fighting,

put the anger down

We’re the change in this generation,

turning it around

Look down at your wrist,

see the colors shine

It’s not just a band,

it’s a promise line

Three simple rules, to live by every day

Put your hands up high,

and let me hear you say!

I pledge to be nonviolent!

(No violence!) I pledge to respect my body!

(Respect it!) I pledge to protect the earth!

(Protect it!) I am NVP!

NonViolentPerson! Wear the pledge,

wear the pledge, let the world see

I am NVP, and I’m proud to be!

Stand up for your best friend,

if they need a hand

We are part of a global movement,

a worldwide band

Respect your mind, respect your body,

keep it clean and bright

And we’ll protect our oceans,

make the future right

Look down at your wrist,

see the colors shine It’s not just a band,

it’s a promise line Three simple rules,

to live by every day Put your hands up high,

and let me hear you say!

I pledge to be nonviolent!

(No violence!) I pledge to respect my body!

(Respect it!) I pledge to protect the earth!

(Protect it!) I am NVP!

NonViolentPerson! Wear the pledge,

wear the pledge, let the world see

I am NVP, and I’m proud to be!

Who’s gonna stop the violence?

(WE ARE!) Who’s gonna show respect?

(WE ARE!) Who’s gonna save the earth?

(WE ARE!)

Tell me who you are!

(N-V-P! N-V-P! N-V-P!)

I pledge to be nonviolent!

(No violence!) I pledge to respect my body!

(Respect it!) I pledge to protect the earth!

(Protect it!) I am NVP!

NonViolentPerson! Wear the pledge,

wear the pledge, let the world see

I am NVP, and I’m proud to be!

Best Friend Forever Pledge.

Wear your wristband.

Say it loud.

I am NVP.
