Surside Horizon
Salt in the air on the coastal road
Leaving behind every heavy load
Barefoot footsteps across the sand
Watching the tides come wash the land
The sun starts sinking low
Golden hues begin to glow
Everything slows right down Miles away from that noisy town
Down at Surfside where the water rolls
Healing the weight of our restless souls
Stay right here till the morning break
Watching the steady shoreline wake
(ooh-ooh, yeah)
Distant gulls calling through the dusk
Air smelling sweet of the pine and musk
Driftwood burning into amber sparks
Safe and sound as the
evening marks Down at Surfside where the water rolls
Healing the weight of our restless souls
Stay right here till the morning break
Watching the steady shoreline wake (surfside,
yeah)
No clocks to chase tonight
Just the foam and the pale moonlight
Let the ocean take the rest
Beating easy
in my chest
Down at Surfside (ahhhh)
Just letting go
