Pretty please! (Pretty please!) Just one little ice cream,
please!
One little question...
FIVE ICE CREAMS!
Monday at the ice cream stand,
I take my daddy by the hand.
I make big eyes,
I smile just right,
"One little ice cream?
Is that alright?"
He says yes, I hear a cheer,
My four brothers all appear.
Five little cones, one little plea,
That's how easy life can be!
One little wish, one little smile,
Everybody joins the line.
Dad says, "That's enough this week!" But Tuesday's looking sweet!
Pretty please, pretty please,
One little ice cream,
if you please!
One little voice, four join in,
Five little cones and five big grins!
Monday me, Tuesday you,
Everybody gets one too!
One little wish, five times the fun,
FIVE AIN'T FIVE TIMES ONE!
Tuesday comes, Dad shakes his head: "We all had ice cream yesterday!"
I tell my brother,
"Go on, ask! It's your turn now,
don't be shy!"
He takes a breath,
he makes his plea: "Dad,
an ice cream? Pretty please?"
Dad looks around — and there we stand,
Five little smiles, a perfect plan!
One little wish, one little smile,
Everybody joins the line.
Dad says, "That's enough this week!" But Wednesday's looking sweet!
Pretty please, pretty please,
One little ice cream,
if you please!
One little voice, four join in,
Five little cones and five big grins!
Monday me, Tuesday you,
Everybody gets one too!
One little wish, five times the fun,
FIVE AIN'T FIVE TIMES ONE!
Daddy counts the ice creams,
I count who got to ask.
He thinks the week's been settled,
But there's five of us,
not one!
Monday was my turn,
Tuesday was my brother's.
And if the twins hear "ice cream"...
... HERE COME THE OTHERS!
PRETTY PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!
One little ice cream,
if you please!
One little voice, four join in,
Five little cones and five big grins!
Monday me, Tuesday you,
Everybody gets one too!
One little wish, five times the fun,
FIVE AIN'T FIVE TIMES ONE!
Daddy?
Just one little ice cream?
(hahaha) ... For everyone!
