The Rockettes of 1978 - Santa Don’t Forget My Street

(One,

two, three, four!)

Snow is falling on the avenue

The whole town’s dressed in red

There’s a million little rooftops And a thousand beds ahead

But I’ve got one little question

For the man up in the sky

When you’re making your rounds tonight

Don’t you pass my house on by

(Don’t pass it by!) Santa,

don’t forget my street

Santa, don’t forget my street

There’s a light on every window And a welcome on the beat

Santa, don’t forget my street

Come on, make my Christmas complete

If you’re gonna circle this whole town Baby,

bring that sleigh around Santa,

don’t forget my street!

There’s a stocking by the fireplace

There’s a ribbon on the chair

There’s a plate of cookies waiting

And a little something there

I’ve been good enough this season

Well, I’ve been good most of the time

So if you see my neighborhood Put my house at the front

of the line (Front of the line!)

The city streets are shining The midnight hour is near I hear

those bells above me So I know you’re getting here

(He’s getting here!) I don’t need a miracle

I just need you to see

There’s a Christmas party waiting Right here at number three!

(Number three!)

Everybody! (Everybody!) Move it!

(Move it!) Santa’s coming!

(Santa’s coming!) Clear the floor!

(Clear the floor!)

Santa, don’t forget my street

Santa, don’t forget my street

Hear the bells and feel the beat Everybody’s on their feet

Santa, don’t forget my street

Come on, make my Christmas complete From the corner to the avenue

Every light

is

calling you Santa, don’t forget my street!

Santa, don’t forget my street!

(Santa, baby… you know where we are!) (THERE HE IS!)
