Purity & Truth (Psalm 25)

Who

fears the great Lord?

He will guide their steps aright,

Showing paths to

choose.

Eyes look to

the Lord,

Pulling feet from hidden traps,

Freeing me

from snares.

Days of peace and joy,

Children walk in light and grace,

Inheriting earth.

God shares His deep heart,

Secrets told to those who fear,

Covenant made known. (ooh-ahh)

Turn and look on Me,

Lonely in my deep distress,

Gracious be,

O Lord.

Calm my troubled heart,

Take away my heavy grief,

Set my spirit free.

See

my pain and woe,

Wipe away my wicked deeds,

Pardon all my sins.

Foes are fierce and vast,

Hating me with burning wrath,

Watch them rise around.

Guard my fragile breath,

Save me from the shame of foes,

In You

I take trust. Purity and truth,

Shield me through the darkest day,

Hope rests in my God. (ooh)

Save Your people now,

From the sorrow and the pain,

Free

them, gracious God.
