There’s a place where Jesus
shed His blood, For my sin,
upon the Tree… upon
the
Tree. I
can
see the crimson, flowing blood,
As I look to Calvary.
There’s a Place for you,
and a Place for me:
It’s the Place our Lord prepared:
There are Mansions Grand in that Glory
Land,
In God’s City
built Foursquare!
To the Cross of Jesus I must go:
Every sin confessing there;
He will hear me pleading there I know,
And my burdens He
will bear.
Beneath the
Skies of Eternal Light,
Where sorrow melts away,
A City
gleams in the Holy
Night,
And turns our dark to day.
When the Saints of Jesus,
heir with Him:
Sharing all His Heavenly Bliss:
They shall sing all praises unto
Him,
In a fairer
Land than this. There’s a Place for you,
and a Place for me:
It’s the Place our Lord prepared:
There are Mansions Grand in that Glory
Land,
In God’s City
built Foursquare!
