Glue Gun Safety Song

(shhh, listen close)

We love to craft and make new things

With paper, cardboard, bells and strings

But there is one tool we must know

That gets too warm to make things grow (that's right)

Oh, the glue gun gets hot,

hot, hot (hot,

hot, hot)

So we only touch the handle slot (the handle slot)

Let a grown-up lend a helping hand To build the coolest things

we planned (ooh-yeah)

Keep your fingers on the plastic frame

Making art is our favorite game

If you see a shiny little drop

Wait a minute for the heat to stop (let it cool)

Oh, the glue gun gets hot,

hot, hot (hot,

hot, hot)

So we only touch the handle slot (the handle slot) Let a

grown-up lend a helping hand To build the coolest things we planned

(so cool)

First we ask, then we play

Safety keeps us glad all day (glad all day)

If we're careful with our tools We make the very best art

schools

Now we're ready to create Our little project's looking great (yay)

Stay safe,

stay kind
