Bells And Silver Strings
Light as a feather,
Marching into winter frost,
Clock begins to chime.
Hang the stockings high,
Hurry now, it’s getting late,
Whisper secret plans.
Dream of sugarplums, Jolly old friend,
tip-toe near,
Bring your magic cheer.
Pluck a wooden toy,
Leave a little gift for me,
Tinkling silver bells.
Silver strings hum low,
Show us what the winter brings,
Spinning tops turn round.
Leaping through the halls,
Swirling ribbons, red and bright,
In the quiet night.
Hidden by the tree,
One for brother, one for me,
Jump and dance around.
Santa comes to town,
Stars are shining, clear
and bright, Guard the peaceful house.
Pluck a wooden toy,
Leave a little gift for me,
Tinkling silver bells. Silver strings hum low,
Show us what the winter brings,
Spinning tops turn round.
Close your heavy eyes,
Drift away into your dreams,
Sleep until the dawn.
Wake to Christmas Day,
Tinkling bells and silver strings,
Winter magic sings.
