I paid my bills,
I fed the cat
I even called my brother back
Put the recycling by the street Bought sensible shoes for my sensible
feet
Then Friday came around at six
I traded those shoes for a dangerous fit
My neighbor said, “You’re going out?” I said,
“That’s what the lipstick’s about!”
I’ve been good
all week long
Somebody put my favorite record on!
Ain’t nothing wrong with a little wrong
Staying out late when the night’s this young
Singing too loud to a terrible song Come on,
come on, come on!
Life’s too short for a perfect score I want a little less
less and a little more more If nobody’s hurt and we’re having
fun
Ain’t nothing wrong with a little wrong!
I ate the cake before the meal
Bought a dress that was a questionable deal
Told my friends I’d be home by nine
Then somebody said, “It’s karaoke time!”
I sang off-key, I missed a note
Somebody laughed so hard they choked
I took a bow and blew a kiss
You don’t get memories playing it safe like this!
Monday morning can wait its turn There’s still a little living left
to learn!
I’m not saying break the rules I’m saying read the fine print
And if it says “No dancing”…
Well, that’s a pretty strange establishment!
AIN’T NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE WRONG!
(hahaha)
I’ll be responsible tomorrow!
