Miss Armstrong’s Magic Classroom
(la
la
la) (yeah)
Morning bell rings at eight forty-five
Best part of the day
when we
arrive
Grab our pencils, line up in a row
Miss Armstrong shows us all how numbers go
Adding up the fractions on the chalkboard wall
She always makes it fun for one and all
Carry the one and double the two
There is nothing that our class cannot do (oh
yeah)
Miss Armstrong, you are truly the best You make every day feel
like a recess
Cooking sweet treats when the math is all done
Every single lesson is so much fun (the very best!)
Then it's cooking time,
apron tied tight
Measuring the sugar, getting it right
Flour on our noses,
baking in a pan
She makes the tastiest snacks that she can
Then she pulls out the crayons and the paper pads Drawing funny
portraits
that make us glad
She sits with my classmate and draws side by side
Every single picture colored with pride (let's go!)
Miss Armstrong, you are truly the best You make every day feel
like a recess
Cooking sweet treats when the math is all done
Every single lesson is so much fun (so much fun!)
Gold stars and smiles when we try our best
You help us pass every single test With a mixing spoon and
a piece of chalk
You're the greatest teacher
on the block
(thank you)
Miss Armstrong, you are truly the best You make every day feel
like a recess
Cooking sweet treats when the math is all done
Every single lesson is so much fun (the best teacher ever!)
Draw with us forever (yeah!) We love you,
Miss Armstrong
