Somewhere between the dark and light,
I’ve been losing sleep at night.
Two roads calling out my name,
Different endings, different pain.
I’ve been searching for a sign,
Trying to read between the lines.
Every answer brings me here,
Standing still, consumed by fear.
If I move, what will I lose?
Which direction do I choose?
There’s a war beneath my skin,
And I don’t know where to begin.
I’m standing
between two walls, Waiting for the rain to fall.
One step forward, two steps back,
Trying not to lose my track.
If I break or if I bend,
Will I find myself again?
Caught between what is and was,
Still searching for the cause.
There’s a life I could have known,
There’s a road I walk alone.
Every door I leave behind,
Maybe nothing’s black or white,
Maybe both sides hold a light,
Making choices out of fear.
Maybe walls are made to fall,
Maybe I don’t know it all.
Maybe answers take their time,
Maybe I’ll be doing fine.
I’m standing
between two walls, Waiting for the rain to fall.
One step forward, let it be,
Maybe that’s how I find me.
If I break or if I bend,
I can start myself again.
Caught between what is and was,
Still becoming who I was.
Between two walls… Somewhere,
I’ll find my
way.
