When I feed my mind trash,
I feel like
trash.
Emotions
are not
problems—they’re signals.
Fear shows me what matters—I learn from it.
But I let the fear of God be my anchor: awe that
steers me,
not anxiety that traps me.
Anger tells me which boundaries were crossed.
Anxiety means I’m stuck in the future—it’s a reminder that I need
to come back to the present.
Motivation may spark change,
but habits will change my life.
When I change my habits,
everything shifts.
My thoughts shape me.
My habits build me.
My choices define me.
I pledge to be nonviolent.
I pledge to respect my body.
I pledge to protect the earth.
My past is a chapter,
not my whole life:
I learn from it,
then stop living there.
Whenever someone triggers me,
I pause.
That trigger is a mirror
showing me what’s still unhealed inside of me.
The only real power I have is me and my choices.
I take the BFF pledge.
It’s simple.
My thoughts shape me.
My habits build me.
My choices define me.
I pledge to be nonviolent.
I pledge to respect my body.
I pledge to protect the earth.
Now join me
—Say the pledge out loud.
Let our brain register it,
so our heart can do what we said out loud.
Say it out loud.
Say it out loud.
I pledge to be nonviolent.
I pledge to respect my body.
I pledge to protect the earth.
My thoughts shape me.
My habits build me.
My choices define me.
I pledge to be nonviolent. I
pledge to respect my body.
I pledge to protect the earth.
That’s all.
Shape me.
