Zion Rise
Upon the
holy
hill Grace
falling
down
like rain (yeah)
Standing tall where the rivers run deep
Promises kept that the faithful will keep
Never no fear when the mountain is high
Joy in our chests pointing up to the sky (praise up) Step
with the rhythm, no weight on the chest
Walking in peace while weenter the rest
From the valley to the peak we rise
Glory shining right before our eyes (glory,
yeah) Feel the foundation break into song
Here is the place where we belong
God of Mount Zion,
standing so high
Shouting out praise to the open sky
Joy like a river,
power and grace Light pouring over this holy place (Mount Zion) God
of Mount Zion, anchor so strong
Lifting our hearts in an endless song
Stone by stone see the city arise
No more tears wiping sleep from our eyes
Grace on the pavement and gold in the air
Joy overflowing in answer to prayer (amen)
Walking steady on this holy ground
Listen to the freedom in the sound
Not by might, not by power alone Love made a dwelling upon
the throne (sing it out) Let every heart let the joyful sound
break free!
God of Mount Zion,
standing so high
Shouting out praise to the open sky
Joy like a river,
power and grace Light pouring over this holy place (Zion!) God of
Mount Zion, anchor so strong
Lifting our hearts in an endless song
(glory,
hallelujah!)
On Mount Zion
Ever and always (peace)
