England races cross the ocean,

to gain land and colonies to expand their empire.

So then they go to North America to raise their flags higher.

They end up making 13 colonies

all of which have different kinds of variety.

In the South they found Maryland,

Virginia, and the Carolinas,

a new society.

Even with the new colonies England kept growing,

leaving too little room for the poor.

So they sent them on ships to the colonies,

effectively kicking them out their door.

Many of them arrived at Chesapeake Bay,

then setting up a colony from Virginia to Maryland.

Even though many Native Americans already were at the land they stayed

and took by demand.

Powhatan and his native people had their land taken but acted smartly,

he decided that if the natives kept calm and kind to the

colonies they could use them for their resources.

But the colonist kept expanding making new colonies by using their English

forces

This led to multiple battles with the Native Americans,

and in the end the English winning,

the end result was hard for the Natives and colonists.

Hundreds of colonists were left dead and starving,

but thousands of natives died and were left homeless.

The English people ultimately won and kept expanding.

Finding new colonies and also keeping the old ones standing.

But even colonists had their own problems,

like for example, the colony Carolina and the way they were governed.

They were led by a group of English aristocrats called The Lords

Proprietor, they split Carolina in half to have their colony thrive,

this caused anger and a need to have a new leader discovered.

Colonists were also getting ill,

they needed money, they looked to Virgina to farm the funds.

So they turned to tobacco,

an amazing resource, it helped raise money for the Southern Colonies.
