The Comforter Will Come by T.L. Newton

Have you received the Spirit’s Power,

Since you believed in Christ,

the Lord?

Do you confess each sin to Him,

And fully trust His Holy Word?

Since you believe’… Since you believe’… In Christ the

Lord’… In Christ the Lord,

Has Heaven’s Gift been given you?...

been given you?

Surrender all on Jesus call;

the Comforter will come to you!

Do You the Holy Spirit grieve,

Since you have taken Christ’s dear name?

Does He, each day,

your life control,

Or have you put

the Lord to shame?

Poiché credete…

Poiché credete… Nel Cristo Iddio… Nel Cristo Iddio,

Il Don del Ciel v’è stato dato?…

v’è stato dato? Tutto arrendete al Suo chiamar;

il Consolator verrà

a voi!

Is your soul sealed Eternally,

By God, the Father,

from above?

Come, let the Gentle Savior in; He will give you His wondrous

love!

Since you believe’… Since you believe’… In Christ the Lord’…

In Christ the Lord,

Has Heaven’s Gift been given you?...

been given you? Surrender

all on Jesus call;

the Comforter

will come to you!
