Letasi’s Rise
Oh Michelle,
my beautiful girl
Letasi,
listen to your father
You have studied through the long night
Now the paper is in your sight
Do not fear what they say You will find your own way
Letasi Michelle, my light (yes,
my light)
They thought you would stumble
But you remain humble
Now watch how the tables will turn
Letasi Michelle, you will soar so high
Touch the stars in the bright blue sky
Show them all what you can do
Success is waiting there for you (oh-oh-oh)
Letasi,
you will fly
Your mama and I,
we believe in your name
This exam is just a stepping stone game
Write your answer with pride
With God by your side
They will never call you again
in shame
(never again, oya)
Fly high, higher than their doubts
Fly high, that's what love is about
Michelle, my champion, go and win
Let the victory begin!
Letasi Michelle, you will soar so high
Touch the stars in the bright blue sky
Show them all what you can do
Success is waiting there for you (oh-oh-oh)
Letasi,
you will fly
Go and shine, my daughter
Letasi
Michelle (hmm-mm) You are
a star
