Warriors of faith where have you gone
You once mighty men have grown fat and lazy
You sit idly by as the enemy advances
Your armor is dented and rusted
It lies in a scrap pile beside you
Your sword lies blunted and tarnished in a forgotten corner
Your faith has grown cold and weary
It longs to be reignited again
Rise up!
Warrior it is time to fight and train again Rise up!
Stoke the coals and embers into flames
Forge and repair your armor
Sharpen and clean your sword!
Remove the shackles that the enemy has placed about you
Rise up!
Serve Him in battle once again
Rise up!
For now is the time for the kingdom to advance
No longer are you slaves to the deceiver
but servants of the Savior
So let us therefore rise and charge into the fray
Let the deceiver tremble in fear
For the mighty men of faith have taken up arms
once again. (tremble!)
