Light of Salvation

(ahhhh) Walking through the valley where the ground is cold

Every promise written never getting old

One, two, three, hear the trumpets blow

Four, five, six, let the mercy flow

Seven on the throne,

every knee will bow

No fear in the dark,

we victorious now

Count it down, count it up,

watch the dawn break through

Every chain hit the floor,

making all things new

Get ready now (yeah)

Jesus is the light of the world,

no night can stay Shining through the heavy storm,

clearing out the way One name,

one grace,

high above the sky Jesus is the light of the world,

lifted high

(lifted high)

Count the blessings falling like the summer rain

Broken hearts restored, washing out the pain

Eight, nine, ten, see the morning wake

Firm upon the rock that will never break

Guided by the fire,

guided by the sound

Standing on the promise on holy ground

No lantern needed, no wandering blind The truest horizon for all humankind

(ohhhh) From the grave to the sky,

alive forevermore

Jesus is the light of the world,

no night can stay Shining through the heavy storm,

clearing out the way

One name, one grace,

high above the sky

Jesus is the light of the world,

lifted high (lifted high,

yeah!)

He is the light Forever the light (amen)
