Banana Pepper Betrayal

(one, two, three, four!)

I ordered up a large,

with extra cheese Just looking for some Friday night relief It landed

on the table, piping hot I grabbed a slice,

ready for the spot

But then I took a bite,

and my eyes went wide What is this tangy yellow thing inside?

(wait, what is that?)

There are banana peppers on my pie!

I didn't ask for this,

oh tell me why!

But it was thirty dollars,

so I will not waste a dime I'm eating every bite

of this spicy mistake of mine! (yeah!)

My tongue is burning but my wallet is thin I look at

the receipt and I start to grin

Thirty greenbacks down the drain if I stop So I swallow my

pride with every single drop

Thirty dollars is thirty dollars (thirty dollars!) I don't care if it

makes me holler (makes me holler!) I'm chewing through the pain

Nothing left but the crust remaining!
