what happened to me,

Lord?

What happened to my

soul?

Child, you were weighed

and judged many times

For the cold sins in your heart

Living only for self,

hardened and bitter

Hating the ground

beneath your feet

Yes, Lord, I do not deny

my past

Yet the spirits of grace broke my night

I repented and begged You inside my chest

Free of malice,

learning to care and give

Is my name

in the Lamb's book of life?
