Look at my paws,
orange and small Look at this bushy red tail against the wall
(oh no) Why am I fur and whiskers today?
Turned the corner,
what do I see?
Thirteen bushy little foxes following me
They strike a goofy pose in a single line
(tada!) Singing in four-part harmony right on time
Rosalyn is running through the neighborhood lawn
Thirteen chorus foxes singing all along
Legs moving fast, heading for the front door
Never been a wild red fox before!
Three hundred ninety-seven dogs on the street
Barking out loud at my furry orange feet (ruff ruff ruff!) Fences
rattling, teeth in the breeze Until little Prudence drops from the trees
A Chihuahua now, fierce and three pounds brave (yip yip!) She opens
up the latch and makes the save!
Tumbled through the door to the quiet hallway floor
Safe inside with all the ones I adore
There is baby Millie
staring from her rug
Stephen, Henry, Dominic giving me a hug
Quinton and Harriet laughing at the show
Look at little sister,
tail head to toe
Rosalyn is home, safe behind the kitchen door
Thirteen fox companions tapping on the floor
Prudence the Chihuahua standing proud and tall
Best weird Tuesday of them all!
Here comes mother Ophelia through the pack
Sixty instant ramen boxes stacked in a sack (slurp!) Eat up,
little fox, it will be alright (hahaha)
