Dance of Resilience

I’ve walked through storms that no one saw,

Held back tears behind closed doors.

I’ve had my moments on my knees,

Wondering what was left of me.

But there were little hands to hold,

A family worth fighting for,

And every time life tried to break me,

I found a little strength once more.

I’ve been afraid, I’ve been undone,

I’ve faced the darkness and still found the sun.

They thought the battle might take me away,

But I’m still standing here today.

I’m still here, I’m still breathing,

Still believing, still dreaming.

Two times I faced that fight,

Two times I walked back into the light.

You can knock me down,

But I won’t stay on the ground.

For every scar,

every tear, every battle I’ve won—

I’m living proof… She dances on.

I’m a mother, I’m a wife,

I’ve held my family through the hardest nights.

Sometimes I’ve smiled when my heart was tired,

Sometimes I’ve walked when I wanted to hide.

But somewhere inside this woman I became,

There was a fire they couldn’t take away.

And every step, every beat,

every song, Reminded me I still belonged.

To every woman who thinks she can’t go on,

To every mother fighting through the dawn,

To every heart that’s hurting silently,

Look at me…

You are more than what happened to you.

More than the battles you’ve had to get through.

And I came out stronger on the other side.

I’m not just a survivor,
