The Candy Cane Kids - Wake Up, It’s Christmas!

(Yeah!

Come on!)

I heard somebody walking

I heard somebody sneeze

I saw a little hallway light

Underneath the trees

I tried to keep my eyes shut

But

I couldn’t stay in bed

Because there’s something happening And I think I know what it is!

Did you hear that?

Did you hear that?

Something’s happening downstairs!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

Wake up, everybody! Wake up,

it’s Christmas! Come on,

get out of bed!

Wake up,

it’s Christmas! The morning’s finally here!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

The best day of the year!

There’s a stocking by the fireplace

And presents by the tree

I think I saw a big red bow That might belong to

me!

There’s wrapping paper waiting And somebody’s yelling,

“Wait!”

But if everybody’s sleeping Then I’m opening mine at eight!

Can you hear them?

Can you hear them?

Everybody’s coming down! (Shhh!)

(Is everybody awake?) (NO!)

(Then wake ’em up!)

Mom is in the kitchen

Dad is making coffee

Somebody found the cookies And somebody’s wearing socks on their feet!

Grandma’s by the fireplace The dog is chasing bows

And there’s one more present underneath the tree That nobody knows!

(Who wants presents?) (WE

DO!) (Who wants breakfast?) (WE

DO!) (Who wants Christmas?) (WE

DO!)

(Then let’s GO!)

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

Wake up, everybody! Wake up,

it’s Christmas! Come on,

get out of bed!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

The morning’s finally here!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

The best day of the year!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

Wake up, everybody! Wake up,

it’s Christmas! The whole house is awake!

Wake up, it’s Christmas!

There’s magic everywhere! Wake up,

it’s Christmas! It’s Christmas morning!

(WE’RE AWAKE!)
