Silver lining syndrome

When you left it put scars on my body

Cuz you weren’t around

You made me feel like nobody

Turned me upside down

I cry myself to sleep

And I’ve tried therapy

But I guess at least-

Now I’ve played the field

and found my type

Our memories are in black and white It can’t hurt more than

it’s already done But that’s just cause of

my silver lining syndrome

The darkness you brought gave me night vision

Now I see through the night

Your forced smiles with such

precision

Now I know when someone is forthright

So many things that I’ve achieved

By you ruining my sleep

And now I guess at least-

I’ve played the field

and found my
