The Light Came Down

Ohhh… ohhh… A holy night,

a shining star,

God sent His love

from heaven afar.

Oh, let the whole world sing tonight,

Jesus Christ,

the world's true Light.

Bells are ringing,

hear the children sing,

Love is the greatest gift that Christmas brings.

Around the table,

let our hearts unite,

We have a reason to celebrate tonight.

Some have plenty, some have little,

But every heart can make life beautiful.

Put down the anger,

let forgiveness start, Christmas means more when we share our hearts.

It's Christmas! Let the whole world know,

The love

of Jesus makes our spirits glow.

From every home to every land,

Let's build a world where love can stand.

Oh, glory, glory, sing it again,

Peace on earth, goodwill to all men.

The King was born,

let the heavens rejoice,

Let every nation lift up its voice!

Yo!

December comes, but the message stays,

It's more than the parties and holiday days.

In Bethlehem, a child was born,

A light of hope on a sacred morn.

No golden crown in a palace of pride,

Just God's great love with the world outside.

And if Christ gave love,

then what should we do?

Give love to your neighbour like He gave to you.

Call your mother, go and hug your dad,

Make peace with your brother; don't leave hearts sad.

Remember the lonely, the poor,

and the weak, Sometimes the strongest love has no words to speak.

We count our blessings,

not the things we own,

Make sure nobody feels they're alone.

Because when the music and the lights disappear,

The love that we give is what remains here.

Glory to God in the highest!

Let peace fill every heart!

May every family find love again,

May healing and hope be where we start.

Ohhh…

Jesus, we remember You,

Your light will guide us all our lives through.

It's Christmas!

Let the whole world know,

The love of Jesus

makes our spirits glow.

From every home

to every land, Let's build a world where love can stand.

Glory, glory,

sing it again,

Peace on earth,

goodwill to all men.

The King was born,

let the heavens rejoice,

Let every nation lift up its voice!

One day the lights will fade away,

And Christmas songs will end their play.

But let this truth live on and on:

The greatest gift was God's own Son.

So when the years have come and gone,

Teach every child to carry love on.

Jesus was born. Let love live on.

Ohhh… let love live on…

Merry Christmas, everyone.
