First Love Always

Before I

knew Your name,

You already knew my heart.

Before

I found my way,

Your love was never far.

Through every joy and every tear,

Your gentle voice was near.

You called me, “My beloved child,” And You held me through the

years.

I don’t come because I’m perfect,

I come because You love me.

I don’t give because I have enough,

I give because You gave to me.

You loved me first,

You loved me first.

Jesus, Your grace has changed my life.

You found me in the darkness,

And brought me into light.

Now all I have,

all I am,

I lay before Your throne.

Use my hands,

use my heart,

Let Your love be

known.

Let me be

a seed of kindness,

Where someone needs Your light.

Let me feed the hungry,

Let me pray through the night.

If I can give a little hope,

Let me give it in Your name.

I may plant the seed today,

But You are the One who makes it grow.

I don’t serve to be praised,

I serve because You’re worthy.

Every little act of love

Can become a song of glory.

You loved me first,

You loved me first.

Jesus, Your grace has changed my life.

You found me in the darkness,

And brought me into light.

Now all

I have,

all I am,

I lay before Your throne.

Use my hands,

use my heart, Let Your love be

known.

Let me speak love,

Let me speak light.

Let me speak gratitude

Into someone’s night.

From generation to generation,

Let Your goodness carry on.

What I plant in faith today,

May become tomorrow’s song.

Jesus,

I am Yours.

My heart belongs to You.

Take my life and lead me.

Show me what love can do.

Where there is darkness,

Let me carry Your light.

Where there is hurting,

Let me pray through the night.

You loved me first,

You loved me first.

And

I will never stop

giving You praise.

Your grace is my story,

Your love is my song.

Every breath that You give me Belongs to You,

Lord. I will love You,

I will serve You,

I will follow where You lead.

Use my life for Your kingdom,

Use my hands for those in need.

You loved me first.

You loved me first.

And everything I am

Is because of You.

Jesus, be glorified From generation to generation.

Amen.
