Arise and Awaken
The dream has ended,
awaken from your slumber
Awaken to the reality
before you (wake up now)
We hid away
in corners for so long Awaken,
dreamer, see where we belong Arise and witness this divided land When
we chose silence instead of making a stand
Weak with our thirst,
refusing to run
To Him who restores every daughter and son (arise)
Why let our pride stand between us and grace?
We once proclaimed His glory in every place Now fear has paralyzed
the call in our chest
Prepare for the hour,
put faith to the test!
Awaken! Prepare for the lion's roar!
He comes as a king,
not a lamb anymore!
Restore every blade, take courage and stand The Lord has overcome
across all the land! (awaken!)
How can we fight when our weapons turn cold?
Neglected tools that were meant to be bold
Why do we shrink from the deeds we were given?
Cast out the doubts and the fear you were living Take back
your heart from the grip of deceit No serpent shall triumph,
no ground in defeat!
Banish all doubt! Let the joy overflow!
We serve the Risen Lord wherever
we go!
(He has overcome!)
Awaken! Prepare for the lion's roar!
He comes as a king,
not a lamb anymore!
Restore every blade, take courage and stand The Lord has overcome
across all the land!
Take courage and rise!
Fill your heart with His peace
Awaken... (arise)
