The Great King (Psalm 47)

Clap your hands, nations,

Shout to God

with cries of joy,

Raise

a triumph song.

The

Lord is awesome, The Most High is Sovereign King,

Ruling all the

earth.

(mmmmm) God is Lord of all,

The Great King of all the earth,

Sing a holy psalm.

God rules every

land, Seated on His Holy Throne,

Reigning High Above. (ahhhh)

He brought nations down,

Subdued peoples at our feet,

By His Mighty Hand.

He chose where

we dwell,

The proud land of Jacob’s seed,

Whom He dearly loved.

Deus est Dominus omnium,

Magnus Rex universae terrae,

Cantate psalmum sanctum.

Deus regit omnem terram,

Sedens in Sede Sancta Suá,

Regnans in altum.

God goes up on high,

Shouts of joy and trumpets blast,

As the Lord ascends.

Sing praises to

God,

Sing praises to Our True King,

Sing your praise out loud. (hallelu)

God is Lord of all,

The Great King of all the earth,

Sing a holy

psalm. God rules every land,

Seated on His Holy

Throne,

Reigning High Above.

Gather, noble ones,

As the tribes of Abraham,

God is lifted high. (ahhhh)
