Three Scars, One Silence (vol 2)

(hummmmm) Three boys sharing the same backyard dirt

Swore we'd never let each other get hurt

But some houses hide a dark,

heavy storm

Where the bottles break and the walls get warm

The first couldn't run from the ghost in his head

From the words and the shadows his family bred

Now he sleeps behind glass where the doctors can watch

Trying to heal from the pain they forgot

And the second of us

sits and stares at his hands

Locked in a world he don't understand

While the last of us hides

in a brand new room

Under another cold, abusive moon

(ohhh, ohhh)

Yeah, the autism keeps him from speaking his mind

He can't process the brother we left behind

And I'm trapped in this house with these strangers again

With the same old cruel words,

but no way to win

I just want to hide beneath the floorboards and pray

But I cannot speak,

got nothing to say

So I'm holding my breath till I turn eighteen

Counting down days to a life unseen

Eighteen... Just waiting on eighteen... (mhmmm)
