Claw and Fang

(ggrrrrrr) (hissss) Arching back,

claws are out

Yellow eyes, a silent shout

Tail is twitching, ready to spring

Let's see

what the morning will bring

First step forward, teeth are bared Neither side is running scared

(woof

woof!) (hiss!)

Fur is flying, backyard war

Scratching at the kitchen door Whiskers twitching,

heavy paws Nature's oldest,

wildest laws

Up the fence, a quick retreat

Landing clean on all four feet

Barking mad, the chaser waits

Guarding all the garden gates

Fur is flying, backyard war

Scratching at the kitchen door Whiskers twitching,

heavy paws Nature's oldest,

wildest laws

Standoff in the weeds...

(pant pant) (purrrr...)
