Keeeeel’thaaaaaa…
I watched them make… Something beautiful…
I watched them raise their towers high Silver shapes against the sky
They carve the mountains Cross the sea They change the world To
what they need They gather stone They shape the steel They make
the darkness feel like something real
Kel’thaaaa…
Why do they build?
They make a home
They make a light
They make their darkness beautiful at night
They stand beneath
The things they’ve made… And look so proud… For just a moment.
KEL’THAAAAAA…
They build something beautiful… KEL’THAAAAAA…
They carry it to the sky… KEL’THAAAAAA…
Then why…
Why do they let it die?
They build…
They build again… KEL’THAAAAAA…
Why do they destroy… What they love?
I watched their cities disappear I watched the lights go dark
I watched them stand among the ruins Holding each other in the
dark I thought they would stop… But they began again.
New walls… New homes… New dreams… Again.
Kel’thaaaa… Why?
I watched one hold another…
Beside a broken home.
Neither spoke… Neither moved…
They simply stayed there… Together.
Then when the morning came… They began to build.
Maybe rebuilding…
Is how they remember.
KEL’THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
They build something beautiful… KEL’THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA… They
reach toward the sky… KEL’THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
And when it disappears…
They close their eyes…
And build again. They build…
They love… They
lose… They learn… KEL’THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
Why do they destroy… What they love?
And why…
When everything is gone… Do they always build again?
Keeeeel’thaaaaaa… I still do not understand… But I think… I want to
know.
THAAAAAELIIIIIIII… The Blue World…
