Grace Awakened

I could search the whole world,

But nothing could compare.

No treasure, no silver,

no gold Could buy the gift You gave.

You gave Your Son,

Jesus,

To save a soul like me.

Not because I earned it,

But because You loved me.

Oh, what a precious gift,

The greatest gift of all.

Salvation through Jesus,

Your grace has set me free.

Your love will never end,

I don’t deserve Your mercy,

Yet mercy found me there.

I don’t deserve Your kindness,

But You have always cared.

You took my sin and shame,

And gave me life anew.
