Donna St. James - December Disco

(whooo!) December came to town tonight And brought a little shine There’s tinsel

on the ceiling And glitter on the line

The band is in the corner The floor is filling fast

Everybody’s dressed up Like the night is built to last Forget about

the weather Forget about the cold We’ve got a little rhythm And

a story to be told

It’s a December disco!

Come on, dance the night away!

December disco! We’re gonna celebrate!

Strings are in the air And bells are keeping time December disco!

Baby, Christmas looks good tonight!

There’s Grandma by the speaker And she’s moving pretty good

There’s somebody doing spins Like nobody else could

The lights are turning silver The brass is hitting hard

And someone put a disco ball Beside the Christmas star

The snow can keep on falling We’re staying here tonight

There’s enough Christmas dancing To keep the whole town bright

It’s a December disco!

Come on, dance the night away!

December disco! We’re gonna celebrate!

Strings are in the air And bells are keeping time December disco!

Baby, Christmas looks good tonight!

From the kitchen to the doorway From the porch into the hall

If you hear that rhythm coming You better join us all Nobody’s

counting minutes Nobody’s checking clocks We’re gonna dance through December ’Til somebody

turns it off

(You ready?)

(READY!) (One more time!) (ONE MORE TIME!)

It’s a

December disco! Come on,

dance the night away!

December disco!

We’re gonna celebrate! Christmas in the rhythm Christmas in the rhyme

December disco! Baby, Christmas looks good tonight!

December disco! Keep that music playing!

December disco! Nobody’s going home!
