They said, "You sure you wanna do that?"

I said, "Guess we'll find out"

They said, "Nobody does it that way"

I said, "What's that about?"

Everybody's got a roadmap

Everybody knows the route

Funny how the ones who never tried it

Always got the biggest mouth

They said, "Wait until you're ready"

I said, "Ready for what?"

If I waited for their blessing

I'd be waiting till I'm gone
