Three Little Miracles

We started with a love we didn’t understand,

Two broken hearts just trying to hold each other’s hand.

We had our nights,

we had our fights,

Said things we wish we could take back sometimes.

There were tears falling down my face,

Times I thought that love had lost its place.

But somehow through the hurt and pain,

We kept finding our way back again.

And then life gave us something we never could’ve planned,

Three little reasons why I still believe in us standing.

Through every storm, through every scar,

They showed us just how blessed we are.

You gave me Ariel,

Aubrey, and Lorenzo,

Three little blessings everywhere we go.

Out of all the chaos,

all the pain we knew,

Somehow something beautiful came from me and you.

We were toxic, we were broken,

we were lost, But we made it through,

no matter what it cost.

And when I look at

everything we’ve been through,

I see

three little miracles

that came from me and you.

We weren’t perfect, no,

we never claimed to be,

But there were moments you

were all I wanted next to me.

We had to learn that love ain’t just a feeling,

It’s choosing one another while the wounds are healing.

And maybe we had to fall apart,

Just to learn how to protect each other’s hearts.

Now we’re looking at a life we never knew,

New blessings coming from everything we went through.

Ariel with that beautiful little smile,

Aubrey making everything worthwhile,

Lorenzo, our little piece of heaven too,

Three reasons I’m forever

grateful

for you.

Maybe our story wasn’t perfect from the start,

Maybe we had to break before we learned to guard our hearts.

But I don’t regret the road that brought us here,

‘Cause every tear somehow disappeared.

Now there’s little footsteps

running through our home,

And for the first time,

it don’t feel like we’re alone.

Whatever tomorrow brings, whatever we become,

I’ll always be thankful

for the blessings we’ve become.
