Refuge of the Lamb
When the enemy comes before the throne
And whispers of my shameful deeds
The Lord looks down and says he bears my name
His sins are gone
and he is clean The blood of the lamb covers him
Holy holy holy
is the Lamb
Holy holy holy
is the great I am
The prince of peace is on his throne
And He will reign forever more
Hail and praise the mighty king
For he alone died for me
Though the arrows may fly and the lion may roar
I am safe in the refuge of my Lord The waves may
crash and the thunder roll I am safe in the arms of
my lord
My strong tower and perfect rest
Your presence
is my request
My shelter and my shield
The kings of kings is all of these
His Holy Spirit a sharp two edged sword
Defends and protects me from my enemies
Holy holy
holy is the Lamb
Holy holy holy
is the great I am
The prince of peace is on his throne And He will reign
forever more
Hail and praise the mighty king For he alone died for me (glory!)
So I will keep striving for the highest reward To stay with
Him in my final home
When it’s time I long to hear
Well done good and faithful one
Come and stay with me
forevermore
