Foxfire Beat
(shhh) Tiptoe on the pavement
Watch the silver flash
Fox paws
Creeping round the corner so light
Golden eyes reflecting the night
You turned around, nobody was there
Just a rustle in the velvet air (gotcha)
One step, two step,
closing the space Never leaving a single trace
Ready to leap
Fox paws, soft on the floor
Sneaking right past your locked door
(hey, hey!) Quick strike,
sly smile, gone before the dawn Fox paws,
dancing on the lawn (catch me if you can!)
Clever little trickster running the game Never sign my real name Left
a paw print on your glass Moving far too fast to pass (zoom)
One step, two step,
turning your head Chasing after what was said
Ready to jump
Fox paws, soft on the floor
Sneaking right past your locked door
(hey, hey!) Quick strike,
sly smile, gone before the dawn
Fox paws, dancing on the lawn (run,
run, run!)
Beneath the moon, you see the tail sweep
While the rest of the world is asleep
You almost held me in your hands (ahhhh!)
Fox paws, soft on the floor
Sneaking right past your locked door (we run this town!) Quick strike,
sly smile, gone before the dawn Fox paws,
dancing on the lawn
(yeah yeah yeah!)
(shhh) Gone without a trace
Fox paws
