The radio’s playing something familiar The heater’s barely keeping warm

There’s a coffee in the cup beside me

And snow is moving through the storm

There’s a truck stop by the county line

With a Christmas tree beside the door

The waitress says, “Merry Christmas”

There’s families at the tables

There’s travelers passing through
