Babs’ Slop Special
Oi oi, you lovely little ravers!
Babs is back in the van,
darling! Wet fish? Flop!
Chips? Crunch! Slop
and flop special? Three
quid, you muppets! Twenty
fags a day, been doing it for years… Now turn that bloody
bass up, my dears!
Babs rolls up when the sun goes down
Little old queen of the seaside town Blue rinse hair and a
dressing gown
Serving wet fish while the bass kicks round
Greasy old apron, battered old shoes Slop in the bucket and a
pot of bad news Floppy little fish with a suspicious sheen Best
damn chippy that you've ever seen Cod in the paper,
chips in the tray Babs has been grafting since half past eight
Friday night comes, she locks that van With a bright pink bumbag
and a cigarette hand!
Wet, wet, wet fish!
Slop, slop, slop! Flop,
flop, flop!
Babs don't stop!
One for the van,
two for the rave
Three for the pension she couldn't save!
Wet fish! Slop and flop!
Babs in the rave and she won't bloody stop!
Twenty fags, got the lighter on lock
Serving up slop to the whole car park!
Wet fish! Flop chips!
Bassline rattling her false teeth clips!
Old-school queen with the sauce on top
Babs bangs baps till the beat goes pop!
Ohhh, Babs is rolling!
Ohhh, the bass is flowing!
Wet fish special and the dancefloor's glowing She's got no idea where
the bloody van's going!
Saturday night in a warehouse rave Babs in the corner acting totally
brave Sequins on her cardigan,
glitter on her face Selling battered cod in the smoking place
Two for a fiver!
Get your chips right here!
Who wants a slop special?
Loads, my dear! Dancing round to the liquid sound With a soggy
fish supper flying round and round Cigarette break every twenty minutes Bass
so deep that she's lost her dentures in it!
Nokia phone and a luminous bag Lifetime supply of those budget fags
Skanks to the left,
then skanks to the right Selling you a fish that's been there
all night!
Oh, Babs, Babs, queen of the night
Serving up supper beneath the blue light From the chippy to the
rave, she's living her dream With a floppy old fish and a
cigarette gleam And when morning comes,
she'll be back on the street With a battered old van and
a bassline beat She'll fry up some chips,
put the kettle on hot… Then remember the slop she left in
the pot
Ahhh, it'll be reyt,
love…
Slop! Slop! Slop! Babs is back and she's ready
to
drop!
Flop! Flop! Flop! Wet fish special at the banging baps shop!
Twenty a day, she's a nicotine queen Oldest bloody raver that you've
ever seen!
Left foot shuffle, right foot slide
Fish and chips in the passenger side!
Slop in the bucket,
grease on the floor
Babs just kicked down the warehouse door!
Wet fish! Floppy chips!
Slop special! Babs gets lit!
One-seven-four and she's losing the plot
Her van's overheating and the fish is too hot!
From the counter to the laser floor Babs is the legend that
the ravers adore!
Right,
who's nicked me lighter?
Who's had me last cigarette?
And which one of you little bastards…
…has put slop in me handbag?
