Oh no…
Not again.
Seth opened Discord.
Nate opened the keyboard.
This can only end one way.
Seth rolls into the chat with a villainous grin,
“Nice opinion, Nate,” and the war begins,
One tiny little message,
barely even a line,
But Nate took the bait and said,
“OH, IT’S ON TONIGHT!”
Seth keeps poking, yeah,
he knows what to say,
Throwing little jabs like he’s getting paid,
“Bro, you fell for it”—Seth starts to laugh,
Nate’s already typing like he’s writing a thesis draft!
The keyboard starts shaking,
the screen starts glowing,
Everybody knows where this is going…
Seth says one more thing—
Nate takes a breath…
HERE COMES THE PARAGRAPH OF DOOM AND DESPAIR!
Nate’s typing a novel like nobody’s there!
Six hundred words and he’s still not done,
Seth is laughing like,
“Bro, this is fun!” Paragraph of doom!
Paragraph of pain! Nate got ragebaited once again!
Seth throws a match,
Nate starts the fire,
The longer he types,
the more he gets tired! (yeah!)
Nate starts with, “Okay,
first of all—” That’s how everybody knows it’s about to be long,
He explains every message from the last two weeks,
Analyzing punctuation and the words that Seth speaks!
“You completely misunderstood the point that I made,” Seth replies,
“lol,”
and the damage is made,
Nate stares at the screen in complete disbelief,
Then adds three more paragraphs fueled by grief!
Seth: “Bro, chill.” Nate: “I AM CHILL.” Seth: “You wrote a novel.”
Nate: “I’M NOT DONE.”
Seth: “You mad?” Nate:
“No.” Seth: “You sure?” Nate:
“YES.” Seth:
“Bro…” Nate: “WHAT?”
Seth: “I was joking.”
Nate:
“...You know what?”
THE PARAGRAPH GETS LONGER.
THE PARAGRAPH OF DOOM AND DESPAIR!
Nate has officially lost it in there!
Seth got his ragebait,
Seth got his laugh,
Nate just wrote the Discord equivalent of a paragraph!
Seth walks away like he conquered the game,
Nate’s still typing, defending his name,
The chat goes silent,
nobody dares to speak…
Then Seth sends: “lol.”
Nate starts typing again.
And so the cycle continues…
Seth baits.
Nate writes. Seth laughs.
Nate writes MORE.
THE END.
