Leaking Roof Blues

There's a growing softness

in the floorboards underfoot

We ran out of resources,

put the plans back where they stood

Got a workforce plan on paper,

but the ceiling's coming down

We promoted people

we knew weren't ready yet

And we haven't got them there,

that's our one big regret

We need to grow our people,

but the rain is starting to pour (oh no)

And the roof is leaking,

got no more to give Trying to find a dry space where

a business plan can live

We need more strategy,

we need more governance too

Collaborate, consult, RACI, SWAT,

what can we do?

(yeah!) Yeah,

the roof is leaking (drip,

drip) We need to grow our people

(mmmmm) Got no more to give
