Mouse and Dog
(sniff
sniff)
Snowy coat and eyes of blue
Staring at the kitchen floor
Something small is passing through
Squeaking by the pantry door
He freezes still, his ears perk high A fuzzy blur goes darting
by (woof!)
Oh my husky's on a mouse hunt tonight
Pouncing left and pouncing right But those tiny paws are way too
quick For a big fluffy dog doing a magic trick! (haha!)
Underneath the sofa couch
Digging up the dusty rug
Big paws trying to make a slouch
Chasing after every bug
He thinks he is a hunter fierce and bold (grrrr) But he's
just a giant ball of fluff And the little mice are far
too cold And they know he's only
acting tough
Oh my husky's on a mouse hunt tonight
Pouncing left and pouncing right But those tiny paws are way too
quick For a big fluffy dog doing a magic trick!
Just a sleepy pup on the rug
Giving up the chase for a hug (yawn)
