When but one step beyond I see,

I know His Hand is over

me,

And at His Word the storm is stilled,

And sunny skies I then will

see.

If surging waves roll over me,

I need not fret or anxious be,

My Savior calls, “be not afraid,

For I will yet be guiding thee.”

I know His Hand is over me.

The Shepherd of my soul is He;

His gentle love flows from Above;

I know His Hand is over

over me.

Tomorrow’s path

is yet so new,

Any many things the Lord will do;

It seems

I see

my Mansion true,

And touch tomorrow

through the blue.

Today, tomorrow, come what may,

My Precious Lord I must obey,

And with Him near,

I have no fear,

I know He

leads me all

the Way.
