My Savior’s Eyes Are Watching Me by T.L. Newton

(humming) When my soul was astray,

From the fold far away,

I was lonely and lost on life’s sea:…

Then my Lord took me in,

Purified my soul of all sin,

For my Savior’s Eyes were watching me.

Now, my heart does rejoice Since I heard the sweet voice

Of my Savior speak softly to me,

And His Spirit abides,

Staying near to my side,

For my Savior’s Eyes are watching me.

Yes, my Savior’s Eyes are watching me,

watching me.

Yes, my Savior’s Eyes are watching me,

watching me.

He, in mercy and love,

Looks from Heaven Above,

Yes, His Eyes are watching over me.

Over me. (ooh)

My dear Lord knows the Way To the Heavenly

Day, For He traveled the Road before me:…

When the sea billows roll,

He will lift up my soul,

For my Savior’s Eyes are watching

me.

When I’ll look in the Eyes Of my Lord,

by and by;

See my Savior so pure,

so Divine:

In His Eyes I will see,

All the grief borne for me,

When my Savior’s Eyes look into

mine.

Yes, my Savior’s Eyes are watching me,

watching me.

Yes, my Savior’s Eyes are watching me,

watching me.

He, in mercy and love,

Looks from Heaven Above,

Yes, His Eyes are watching over me.

Over

me. (humming)
