Bevel Up Beat

(one, two, three,

four!)

Got my gloves on,

needle ready,

Take a breath, keep my hands steady.

Check the patient,

check the site,

Everything’s gonna be alright!

Pick the spot, don’t mess it up,

One little thing I gotta remember—

Bevel up,

bevel up!

Point that little edge right up!

Needle ready, nice and slow,

Give that shot and let it go!

Bevel

up,

bevel

up!

That’s the way we give it up!

MA skills, we’re learning stuff,

When it comes to shots—BEVEL UP!

Clean the site and

let it dry,

Keep it steady, don’t be shy.

Needle in, then

out we go,

Safety first, that’s what we know!

Pick the spot, don’t mess it up,

One little thing I gotta remember—

Bevel up,

bevel up!

Point that little edge right up!

Needle ready, nice and slow,

Give that shot and let it go!

Bevel up,

bevel

up!

Now you’ve got the rhythm down!

Medical Assistant on the way,

Giving shots like a pro someday!

Bevel up, bevel up!

(yeah!) Point that edge right up!
