Rivers of Mercy

You spoke, O Lord,

of the coming days

When rivers of mercy would flood the earth with praise

Your Holy Spirit, like fire and rain

Would fall on every heart and break every chain

Sons and daughters would rise and proclaim

Visions of glory in Jesus’ name

Young hearts would awaken,

the old would dream

Your living waters would burst every stream

From desert places, let worship arise Like dawn breaking open the midnight

skies

Pour out Your Spirit,

pour out Your love

Let holy fire fall from heaven above

Fill every heart till the darkness must flee Let every nation sing,

“Jesus is King!” Holy Spirit,

Turn to Jesus; His mercy is near

He gathers the broken and silences fear

At the cross, where our shame was laid

We find forgiveness, the price fully paid

Be baptized in the name of the Son

Buried with Christ, raised as a new one

The promise is for you and me

For every child and every family For those far away,

for all who call

The arms of our Father are open to all No generation is

beyond Your grace
