Brick By Brick

(yeah) Motivation left me at the door,

So I learned to work without it anymore,

I don't need a feeling telling me to move,

I made discipline the thing I choose.

Rain on the window,

alarm at five,

Everybody sleeping, I'm already alive,

No applause waiting, no crowd in sight,

Just another promise I made last night.

I show up when I don't feel strong,

I show up when everything feels wrong,

I show up when nobody can see,

Because the future is depending on me.

Day by day, brick by brick,

No magic trick, just work like this,

One more hour, one more mile,

One more failure, one more trial.

(work!) I don't negotiate with the weaker voice,

I made a decision,

now I live by the choice,

Every morning I put fear in the back,

Every night I ask,

"Did I give it all back?"

There were days when my body said no,

But my mind said,

"Move, we still gotta go," That's the difference nobody can teach,

The dream gets closer every time you reach.

I don't need perfect conditions,

I don't need perfect skies,

I need a reason strong enough To make me get up and

rise.

Day by day,

brick by brick,

No magic trick,

just work like this,

One more hour,

one more mile,

One more failure,

one more trial.

(yeah!) Someday they'll call it talent,

Someday they'll call it fate,

But I know every quiet morning

Was the price I had to pay.
