Sunlit Commute

Yawning on the early train

Headlights fading in the summer rain (ahmmm)

Sipping on a freezing cold soda can

Tracing out a tiny weekend plan

Passing by the coastal line

Suddenly the sun begins to shine And I can see the waves

outside the glass

(here we go!)

Run into the blue,

kick off my shoes Nothing left to prove,

we cannot lose Spinning in the tide

under the golden sky (ooh-yeah)

Everything is shining through your eyes

Step-slide, side-by-side

We are on a holiday ride! (hahaha)

Snap a photo in the salt breeze

Laughing as we bend our knees Silly faces on the camera screen

Brightest day that we have ever seen

Sun is sinking down into the bay

Wish that we could stay like this all day (hmmm)
