Born Beyond Grace
(hmmm-mm) The winter in the heart begins to fade
The heavy dust of yesterday is gone
I leave the quiet ruin that was made
And turn my eyes toward the rising dawn
A breath of wind
is stirring through the trees Old chains fall loose,
the captive is set free
(oh, set free)
If anyone is found in Christ
Behold, the new has come alive!
The old has passed,
the night is done
We walk unbroken in the sun!
(glory, hallelujah!)
No lingering sorrow,
no bearing of the blame
My soul is written with another name
A garden blooming where the desert cried
Standing redeemed and fully satisfied!
(oh yes, satisfied!)
Cast out the darkness,
tear down the stone
Life has awakened upon the throne! (hallelujah!)
All things are brand new!
If anyone is found in Christ Behold,
the new has come alive!
The old has passed,
the night is done
We walk unbroken in the sun!
(we
are made new!)
A new creature... (born anew)
